Is it difficult to disassemble a bicycle chain by yourself?

Today’s sports bicycles, whether mountain bikes or road bikes, are equipped with quick-release buckles for chains, which are convenient for users to disassemble and assemble the chains and maintain the transmission system better and more conveniently. It should be noted that most of the chain buckles have an expiration date, some only have a period of disassembly and assembly, and some even only need to be disassembled once. In fact, the chain of a bicycle can only be disassembled and reassembled a few times, and any more will have to be replaced.
The quick release button looks very simple, but the small key point of four or two dials can withstand a very large pulling force after being fastened. To remove it generally requires special bicycle chain opener, which are rarely found in the home of cyclists, because they are used very rarely and are almost never used.
In fact, you can install it yourself, just use common ordinary hardware tools, and the installation effect is the same, just need an ordinary vise. In order to prevent the sludge from sticking to your hands and cannot be washed off, wear gloves. It is better to use it with a chain hook. Usually, a chain beater will be given as a gift. If you don’t have it, you can make it yourself.

How to use it? Riding is very simple, directly use the teeth of the vise head to clamp the two ends of the quick release buckle, and then tighten the bicycle repair wrench to remove it. In fact, the vise uses different tools to remove the quick-release buckle. Similarly, the two buckles are forced from the outside to the inside to open the tenon. The principle is the same as that of the quick-release buckle removal pliers. The tenon loosens and the chain is removed.
The vise is actually at least a tool for installing quick-release buckles. Pull the bike chain breaker by hand on one side, and tighten it with a vise on the other side, and it can generally be installed. Of course, most of the quick-release buckles within the service life are very tight, and they can rarely be pulled into place by hand. At this time, we need to use another external force. Rotate the chain link that has been initially tightened and has a quick-release buckle to the position above and behind the crankset, so that it hangs in the air, and rotate carefully to prevent the crankset from falling off the chain. At this time, as long as you squeeze the rear brake and step on the crank hard, you can hear the reset sound of the quick release button in a moment. This is the complete installation. You can imagine the pulling force that the chain bears during normal work. How huge is it. Finally, turn the crank and test whether the transmission and shifting are normal.
